◼︎Why should we care about the environment when it’s expensive and inconvenient?
"Environmental protection" is a topic that everyone is familiar with in the 21st century. It encompasses every small action in people's lives. However, when a music festival wants to implement "environmental protection" into its activities, it often confronts more than just "a small action" or "a slogan." The true cost of environmental protection includes high expenses, increased manpower, and many forms of inconvenience.
⠀
◼︎Starting from Kenting beach cleanup, how did it go further?
Choosing eco-friendliness has never been easy. "If nature can provide healing experiences for people, then why do people leave behind plastic bottles, disposable cutlery, plastic bags, and aluminum cans on this beautiful land?"
With these questions in mind, the Kenting Spring Wave festival began inviting the public to participate in beach cleanups over a decade ago, hoping everyone involved could "protect the environment" together, allowing "healing" to be experienced not just through the environment and music, but also through the efforts of those participating.
⠀
But besides beach cleanups, can the Spring Wave music festival do more?
⠀
◼︎Spring Wave 19, more healing, less waste
adhering to the original intention of "healing," Spring Wave has traveled through many cities over the past 19 years, bringing environmental actions to the forefront, ensuring that every detail adds to the earth's favor. This has been our ongoing effort.
This year, Spring Wave has established 8 eco-projects, dedicated to "reducing single-use waste," "using sharing instead of purchasing," and "recycling and reusing materials," aiming to reduce carbon footprints and leave only beautiful memories.

◼︎Because of you, every single time is important
In recent years, we have seen more and more attendees practicing environmental sustainability — bringing their own utensils, using shuttle services, and physically climbing the challenging slopes to attend the event. These seemingly small actions aggregate into a powerful force, and each music festival is planting a better future.
⠀
Thank you to every audience member supporting environmental protection; because of you, Spring Wave has become more beautiful. Let us look forward to Spring Wave’s 20th anniversary together, continuing to contribute more efforts to environmental protection and creating a more eco-friendly music festival experience!
